We hope to attract driven beings which want to strive for a sustainable future ! Volunteers can take roles in 5 circles in the community : The Garden Circle, where we wish to manifest in the reality our permaculture design ; The Building Circle, where we experiment on natural buildings and showcase alternative ways of energy and resources consumption ; The Art circle, where cultural practices and art projects birth ; The Balance circle, where we uphold the community standards, policies and well-being ; The Vision circle, where we manage future projects, we develop our strategies and maintain our social media.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
The collective diet is Vegan, but you are free to buy your own complementary food if needed. The volunteer will sleep in a double room/caravan, in Catfarm community (699 chemin de cabrolous, 34560 Poussan). Two kitchens, a dry toilet, a bathroom, a terrasse, common areas are at disposal. The hosting organisation has 4 bikes and a community car, as well as bus stops 5 minutes away. The participant can join Montpellier in 40 minutes, or Sète in 15 minutes.
Formação durante a atividade
By taking part in this project, the volunteer will gain the following competencies: - Project management and group facilitation - Collective governance system (Holacraty) - Conflict resolution tools - Non-violent communication basics and more depending of the roles undertaken in the association. Youthpass, EU-key competences related : - Multilingual competences (A lot of languages to learn here !) - Cultural awareness and expression competences (We practice group activities such as sharing circles, in order to self-express and understand each other) - Entrepreneurship competences
