Rigenerate is a 12-month project at Giona Youth Centre and Rigenera (Cooperativa Nazareth), starting in October. Volunteers will support educational activities for foreign minors, help with sports and expressive activities for children, and assist with community events. Rigenera also involves volunteers in organic farming, promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental responsibility. You’ll be involved in social entrepreneurship projects and community engagement through hands-on activities. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers will be provided with fully equipped shared apartments located in the city center, within close proximity to the volunteering site. A monthly food allowance will be provided, and each volunteer will receive a personal bicycle for getting around town. Travel expenses will be covered, with a preference for environmentally friendly travel options. To support their integration and activities, volunteers will have the guidance of a tutor and mentor, while a project coordinator will oversee the overall management of the project.
Formação durante a atividade
Each project includes On Arrival Training (OAT) and Mid Term Evaluation (MTE) organized by the Italian National Agency. These sessions provide specific training on the project’s activities, alongside learning paths designed to help volunteers discover, understand, and recognize their personal skills, aptitudes, and competences. Volunteers will also have access to online language support to learn Italian through the EU Academy platform (https://academy.europa.eu/). At the end of the service, all volunteers will receive a Youthpass certificate, documenting their achievements
Perfil do participante
We are looking for volunteers who are dynamic, creative, communicative, sociable, and patient. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated, eager to learn Italian, and comfortable working in a team. Flexibility and creativity are essential, as we value volunteers with unique hobbies, original ideas, and openness to different cultures. We welcome individuals with a strong drive to explore new experiences, curiosity about the world, and an interest in learning from diverse cultures
