Description

Fryschillet is a vibrant, year-round youth place designed for middle and high school students. It’s a welcoming, informal space where young people can connect, play games, explore creative interests, and just hang out with friends. Volunteers here play a key role in creating an engaging environment, leading activities, sparking conversations, and supporting teens as they discover and develop their passions. With a focus on inclusivity and spontaneity, Fryschillet is all about showing up, joining in, and making every day memorable!

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The European Solidarity Corps program covers all costs. Fryshuset will find accommodation. Food and pocket money will be transferred to volunteers` bank accounts monthly.

Training during the activity

You will participate in two trainings during your volunteering. The Swedish National Agency will organize an on-arrival training shortly after you arrive, and a mid-term training will take place halfway through your volunteering period.

Participant profile

We are looking for an active and creative individual, aged 20-23, who is passionate about working with young people aged 13-16. You should enjoy engaging with this age group through activities, conversations, and creative projects. The ideal candidate speaks English or Swedish and is comfortable leading and organizing various youth-centred programs, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
