The international volunteer will be supporting the tasks, actions and initiatives from CRUC-ESCAMN (the Outdoor Activities Catalan Base School) like: Supporting the leaders and preparing material for the activities addressed to kids between 4-14 years around different local centers. Support the leaders in the summer activities as work camps or summer camps, addressed to local kids and teenagers in different Catalan villages. Preparing and delivering informative speeches to youngsters. Educate youngsters during outdoor activities and train them how to respect, enjoy and learn about the natural environment. The volunteer will work according to local youth policies and will support the youngsters to be ready to work. Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteer will live in an apartment located in Solsona near the city center. To move from Solsona to the workplace, volunteer will use the bus and will receive an interurban card to move around.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
The volunteers will participate in the ESC "Welcome training" in the beginning of the mobility, and later on, in the "Middle term evaluation" training. They will attend specific training from CRUC-ESCAMN’s team.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
Strong motivation for youth voluntary projects, lots of motivation and proactivity, experience in volunteering, good English level, and interested in living in a rural area like Solsona (a small village about 10.000 inhabitants). Will be positively valued having participated in a work camp or in other international youth projects (youth exchanges, training), Spanish knowledge, the will to learn Catalan and ability for foreign languages, and experience leading projects addressed to kids and teenagers
