Are you passionate by the arts and entertainment industry? How about a full year experience in sound / light design and all the backstage work needed for preparing a concert? A4-Space for Contemporary Culture is an experimental art centre based Bratislava, our mission is to promote emerging artists and non-mainstream culture. We are looking for a new team member to join our Technical support department. Benefits for joining the program: - Work with experts in the arts and entertainment field - Learn everything about the functioning of a non-profit organisation - Develop your own creative project by using the A4 space resources and community: gig, exhibition, workshop, performance, movie (100 euros provided by the project) - Create the A4 Zine - together with other volunteers look for emerging local artists and promote them through a launch event in A4. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will live an apartment situated next to a forest - 25 min by public transport from A4. Rent and transportation is covered by us. ATTENTION! There will be 4 volunteers selected, the apartment only has 3 rooms, the candidate should be comfortable to share their room with someone else (eventually). Monthly allowance - 320 euros.

Light design workshop Stage set up workshop Filming and video editing + sound workshop Project management workshop On-Arrival and Mid-term training (3-5 days trip) in some exquisite destination in Slovakia
Participant profile
Someone interested to learn in light / sound design and backstage work. Passionate by art and entertainment industry. Already had a first working experience (no matter the field). Available to move to Bratislava for 1 year. Comfortable to share the flat with other people and working with the same people. Between 18 and 30 years old.
