Are you passionate about providing support to disadvantaged communities and making a tangible impact? Join a transformative 3-month volunteer experience with Jordan Health Aid Society International (JHASi), an NGO dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services and advocating for healthier living for vulnerable populations in Jordan. This opportunity invites young adults aged 18-35 to contribute to JHASi’s mission through diverse activities both in JHASi' office in Amman and at the Zaatari refugee camp. Key responsibilities include: Conducting research, collecting data, and collaborating in writing project proposals; Searching for tenders, partnerships, and collaborations to support JHASi’s programs; organizing entertainment activities for children in the Zaatari refugee camp; Providing logistical support for activities in the Zaatari refugee camp; Participating in a training course on safety and rescue at the Zaatari Medical Training and Consultancy Center.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
Volunteers will be hosted in a fully furnished studio in Amman. The location will be near the headquarters office. Volunteers will receive an allowance of 32€ per day to cover flight tickets, Visa costs, vaccinations and other personal expenses. Other costs, such as airport pick up upon arrival & drop off, food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and accommodation will be covered by the program.

Before your mobility begins, you’ll take part in an online training session to prepare you for what lies ahead. Once you arrive, you’ll receive hands-on, face-to-face training, covering everything from your daily activities to life in the local community, to ensure you’re fully equipped to make the most of your experience. Your European support organization, IBO Italia, will be there every step of the way, ensuring you feel confident and supported on your journey.
