Περιγραφή
The purpose of the project is to support the staff with the organisation of international projects, mostly with the neighbour state Poland. We coordinate youth exchanges, internships abroad and staff exchanges mostly with Erasmus+ funding and with support of the German-Polish Youth Office (DPJW). The volunteer is expected to help with the preparation and implementation of youth exchanges, paper work and the implementation process as well as with the accounting. Almost every month there is at least one youth or staff exchange, in many cases more than one at the same time. Volunteers should preferably have basic knowledge about project management and advanced language skills in German are mandatory. Basic or advanced Polish language skills are preferred as well.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteer will live in an IB residential school house in Frankfurt (Oder) called Haus Einstein in a single apartment. The apartment includes a individual bathroom while the kitchen is shared with other inmates. Rent is paid by the hosting organisation. The volunteer will receive food and pocket money every month based on the official rates of the ESC program and will also get a public transport ticket.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
The volunteer can use a Erasmus+ language online course to foster the German skills and is obliged to take part in two ESC seminars (introductory seminar six weeks after the start of the activity and mid-term meeting six months after the start of the activity).
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
Participants preferably should have basic Polish and advanced German language skills, as many of our international projects take place in Poland. Basic knowledge in project management and intercultural work is desirable.
