The volunteers who will be selected for this opportunity will: 1. work in a team of 6 volunteers sharing the responsabilities of working in our Youth centers 2. Support the work of Europe4Youth organization both on the local reality of Krakow and in the context of International mobilities 3. Learn about Facilitation and coordination of workshops and activities while forming themselves as Youth Workers. The dates of volunteering are from 1st of February for a duration of 6 or 12 months, with possibility of extension during the activity period. An avarage of 4 working days per week for 7 hours per day. The work of the volunteers in the youth center is to support the coordinators working there, while also organizing own workshops and activities for Youth based on passions and interest they want to share with the Young people coming to our youth centers!
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers will be hosted in a Flat on 2 floors with a triple a double and a single room, devided based on gender distributions of the 6 volunteers, with, apart from the 3 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 living rooms to hand out togheter. The volunteers will recieve monthly money for food and personal expenses, payed at the start of every month and following the standards of ESC program directions. All expenses encountered in travelling to Krakow will be reimboursed, including visa costs and Europe4youth will buy monthly transport tickets to move in Krakow city.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteers will have access to OLS language course to try to learn some Polish. The volunteers will take part in the On arrival and Mid term trainings organized by the National agency of Poland. Europe4youth will form the volunteers by holding workshops to learn about Youth work and facilitation, while, at the same time, provide day to day Tutoring and mentoring to support their experience in Poland.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for motivated and engaged volunteers, with a basic level of English language to make communication with the coordinator possible. Socially active and interested in learning more about the world of ESC and Erasmus+, while being proactive enough to come with ideas for workshops and activities they would like to share with youth in Krakow, 18 to 30 years hold, no specific requirements when it comes to studies
