With this activity, the ambition of CI is not only that the volunteer collaborate in projects "for" youth, but that these are developed "with" youth. In other words, CI considers it essential to incorporate the interests, approaches and priorities of young people into the work of the organization, which will be achieved through the inclusion of the ESC volunteer in the daily work of CI. During the months when volunteers are in Madrid, participation of young people in planning meetings will be facilitated, They will be given the space to incorporate their vision into the activities run by the technicians and given the tools to help mobilize other young people.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
As for accommodation, CI will help in finding a room in a shared flat with European students that is accessible and close to CI facilities. The volunteer will use public transport or bicycle. Pocket money will be 6 euros per day, plus money for accommodation and travel.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
30 hours per week of support to CI volunteer programmes. Support to technicians in the implementation of activities that promote the participation of young people in voluntary activities in Spain, support in European projects of CES or Erasmus+, support in the process of creating awareness campaigns for young people. Specific tasks may include support for the development of educational materials, the launching of awareness campaigns or the design of programmes for socio-educational support to children in vulnerable situations.
