Opis
Waldorf School of Kaunas is a community based school and kindergarten working by the principles of Waldorf education. The school is located in a beautiful part of Kaunas, second biggest city of Lithuania. Volunteers have an opportunity to work closely with children, teachers and the community. In language lessons, kindergarten and afterschool activities as well as manual work with parents helping school reconstruction creating colorful and dynamic places for children, handcraft activities and events. During summer months onc school is finished volunteers will join summer camps with Skautu slėnis. More info: https://valdorfas.org/en/
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
Two volunteers will share a fully equipped flat right next to the school. Food money will be provided, there is a dining hall in the school as well. Volunteers have bikes for transportation.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
There will be On arrival training organised by Natonal Agency. Once a month we will have volunteers meeting with the coordinating organisaion to discuss the projects, any problems and some nice trips occasionally. In May there will be leaders training to prepare for summer camps.
Profil uczestnika
We are looking for a motivated, happy and social person. Someone who loves children and is interested in alternative education methods. Not afraid of a bit dirty work and can flexibly manage various situations.
