Beschreibung
The volunteer will support different Red Cross programmes in Manresa working with children and young people. Activities include play, educational support, leisure, sports, youth activities and community projects. The volunteer will work alongside professional educators and local volunteers, supporting inclusive spaces and contributing their own ideas.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The volunteer will live in a shared apartment in Manresa with two other European volunteers participating in different local projects. Each volunteer has a private bedroom and shares the kitchen, bathroom and living room. Monthly financial support includes a food allowance of €150 and pocket money of €180.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteer will attend Catalan language courses at the CPNL to support integration and everyday communication. They will also take part in on-arrival and mid-term training organised by the Spanish National Agency, together with regular mentoring and local support throughout the project.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for someone who is:
• motivated and enthusiastic about working with children and teenagers;
• adaptable, communicative and comfortable working as part of a team;
• empathetic and sensitive to different social and personal situations;
• interested in social inclusion and community work;
• enjoys creative, sports, games or recreational activities;
• willing to learn Catalan and/or Spanish.
