Wheeling2help is a non-for-profit organization situated in Raches, Greece. It is an initiative with the aim of inspiring and initiate young people to volunteer through social actions in Greece and abroad. The main areas that we work are environment, sports, education and social entrepreneurship. We aim to enhance collaboration, equality, empathy, positive energy and kindness between all the human beings so that we can all live in agreement with nature. The main tasks of the volunteer working with the environmental projects, will be: ➔ Outbound projects coordination ➔ Inbound project coordination ➔ PR on social media and media channels ➔ Graphics and Video material creation and editing ➔ Development, maintenance and promotion of the new Wheeling2help website ➔ Erasmus+ Project writing (after appropriate training) Photography & Video documentation. Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
During your ESC project, your accommodation is fully covered by the programme costs. Wheeling2help base is at NISI Glamping, where the volunteers nest is located as well! You will share a room with one more volunteer. Regarding food, you are going to get food allowance to cook yourself or enjoy delicious meals at NISI’s restaurant. Raches is a small sea-side village where the longest distance is less than 3km, so you do not really need transportation. If you like cycling though, you are more than welcome to use our Wheeling2help bicycles!
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Training will be provided by the task related person assigned to the volunteer regarding all the every day tasks. The volunteer will also have the opportunity to get training in other areas of activities from Wheeling2help.
Teilnehmerprofil
The project is open for young happy, positive and flexible people: ● Aged 18 - 30 years old ● facing any kind of troubles in life (long-term unemployed, facing financial or social obstacles, LGBTQIA) ● Interested in living the experience of spending the summer season in a beautiful campsite by the sea. ● Highly motivated to explore the lifestyle of a social changemaker (being an initiator, being flexible with working hours and working places, being open-minded, being flexible in general). ● Ready to work in an international environment with cultural differencies.
