Beschreibung

Two volunteers will participate in the project. They will stay in a shared house, each having their own private room. The house is fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The volunteers will take part in activities organized by the association, mainly in youth centers, local organizations, and the university. They will also join activities with children at the municipality kindergarten. They are expected to support English drama, music, and speech clubs. Interest in music, dance, sports, and handicrafts is a plus. During the project, volunteers will learn to play the bağlama, attend Turkish language classes, and join environmental activities like caring for endemic plants. They will also experience local cuisine hands-on. Volunteers will have two extra days off per month and will be supported by a mentor. Pocket money, food allowance, accommodation, transport costs, a bus pass, and personal bicycles will be provided.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

The volunteer will live in a shared apartment with another volunteer, each having a private room. The modern apartment includes amenities like a washing machine and heater. It is close to the city center and Konyaaltı Beach, and volunteers workplace. Monthly pocket money and food allowance will be provided. Travel costs to and from the volunteer’s home country will be covered per EU standards. A local transport card and a bicycle for personal use are also included.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

Turkish Language Course and Bağlama (Turkish traditional music instrument) lessons will be provided to the volunteer. Additionally, training will be given to help understand the behaviors of children aged 4-6.

Teilnehmerprofil

Must be positive, open-minded, motivated, creative, culturally proactive, and socially sensitive; able to adapt easily to new situations; have basic knowledge of the digital world; and be willing to learn about Erasmus+ mobility projects. The volunteer should be willing to work with children, able to organize activities for them. Additionally, they must have the ability to teach English to children aged 4-6 through drama, music, and play, and optionally be able to teach their native language to local youth. The volunteer should be interested in music, dance, and/or sports. We look forward to meeting candidates and future participants.
