IB Polska - Volunteering in the Kindergarten no. 92 in Krakow, Poland - Dare to Act!

We are looking for volunteers ready to start their work in the Governmental Kindergarten no. 92 in Krakow for 9 months from 2.09.2025. This kindergarten is located in 2 buildings. Volunteers tasks will be to play games with children, sing and dance together, helping to prepare tables for meals and beds for the nap, preparing presentations about volunteer's country and language workshops for students in different age groups. Working hours depends on the group, but usually it's 8:00/9:00 in the morning until 2:00/3:00 in the afternoon. There are also trips, walks and meetings with parents included in the volunteer's tasks. Additionally, IB Polska organizes meetings and workshops connected with the project main topics, giving all volunteers the chance to develop skills and knowledge. Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Volunteers will be accommodated in the flat with another ESC volunteers hosted in the project. There are mostly double rooms in the flat. We provide monthly cards for the public transport for volunteers to make it more comfortable to get to work or to our meeting. Every month volunteers receive pocket money and food allowance which is 250 € per month to their bank accounts. Volunteers from Europe should have EHIC, additionally Henner insurance is provided. Criminal record from each volunteer is required before starting the project.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

Each volunteer has to be prepared for the project by the sending organization. Coordinating organization (IB Polska) offers additional trainings regarding work with children and teenagers (PSEA) and self-development activities during the whole project. There is also on-arrival training offered by Polish National Agency and Mid-Term training in case volunteering lasts more than 6 months.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

We are looking for participants who like to work with children. Candidates have to be open-minded, creative, friendly, patient, empathetic and attentive. Good communication skills are also important here, especially listening.
