YMCA Netherlands is working hard to open a new youth centre in Woerden. We need a lot of help with that! We invite seven young volunteers to help us with different tasks around the finalisation of this brand new youth centre. It’s a big job, and it requires a lot of hands! YMCA therefore invites European volunteers to help build the future of the YMCA! YMCA Netherlands invites seven European volunteers for two weeks (May 3 – May 17, 2025). Helpful hands and a good word of English are required! YMCA pays the travel expenses. The participants spend the night at the homes of local Woerden residents. Building is nearly finished, but there are some tasks that we need a lot of extra hands for, including: - garden work - painting (indoor and outdoor) - PR activities (like flyering) - helping to set up youth activities for local kids

- Volunteers will stay and eat with local Dutch families - Volunteers will also be invited to cook and eat together on some days. - Public transport costs to and from the youth centre will be covered - Volunteers will get free days and pocket money

Perfil do participante
We are looking for someone who: – Is from any EU country – Is available during the entire period (May 3 – 17) – Is handy and creative – Is a real team player. – speaks a fair bit of English – Can provide an equivalent of a Declaration of Good Conduct. Special skills or experience with painting, construction or youth work are an advantage.
