Περιγραφή

NCCS is an Albanian NGO with headquarters in Tirana. It supports groups in need through intermediation for employment, through offering services, raising awareness, doing research on social issues, etc. It has a full-time staff of 3 persons and other part time staff depending on the projects it currently implements. This opportunity focuses on empowering marginalized groups, especially women, girls, and youth, to actively participate in democratic processes and decision-making. Volunteers will be involved in organizing awareness campaigns, facilitating workshops on gender equality, civic participation, and leadership skills, and supporting community outreach initiatives. Tasks will include collaborating with local institutions, assisting in event planning, and engaging with beneficiaries to foster community involvement. Volunteers will also help in delivering training on public speaking and awareness raising on anti-discrimination.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Volunteers will be provided with shared accommodation in a centrally located facility. A monthly stipend will cover food expenses, and local transportation will be arranged for project activities. Volunteers will also receive support for travel to the project location, depending on specific needs. Main activities are located in Tirana, a capital city with many attractions and opportunities, volunteer will be living close to the office, supported in integration and security. Transport, visa, medical check: included in project financing.

Volunteers will receive training on gender equality, civic engagement, leadership development, and humanitarian aid principles. Additional training on intercultural communication and community-based outreach will be provided to ensure effective participation and impact. Project includes conferences and workshops on woman empowerment and digital skills, accompagnament in project management on the field. Possible local language course + Online Language Support.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months. We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about human rights, gender equality, and community empowerment. Ideal candidates should have a strong interest in social inclusion, public speaking, and facilitating workshops. Volunteers with previous experience in civic engagement or working with marginalized groups are encouraged to apply, though not required. A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for community outreach are essential.
