You’re animated about interculturality, sports and sharing your experiences? You wish to enhance your skills and talents while organizing fun activities? If you’re enthusiastic, dynamic, and eager to learn from different cultures, this mission is for you! You will be part of a group of volunteers. Your task will be to design and lead creative workshops for children and teenagers in the summer camps. We count on your imagination! You can also get involved/participate in some events with Europa Joven Madrid.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Volunteers will be hosted in student housing in the center of Madrid. They will sleep in shared rooms (2 volunteers in each room). All the meals are provided. The participants will receive the monetary allowance (pocket money) of the program as well. Travel expenses are covered by the program.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will take part in a joint program which is organized and carried out by the hosting organization. This program will offer training, evaluation, intercultural activities and cultural sightseeing. Moreover, the activities aim is to help with youth work and animation, but also share their experiences and cultures among each other.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for a highly motivated group of young people with interest in working with youngsters, someone who is open to other cultures, interested in working in an international setting and the ability to collaborate with others. Good social skills, being open-minded and respectful are essential to interact with young people in an informal setting. Spanish knowledge is welcome but not necessary.
