Located in Vilnius, Balsiai Progymnasium provides a modern and supportive learning environment for students in grades 1-8. Guided by our values of respect, responsibility, and creativity, we offer a rich extracurricular program with more than 60 clubs, organize various events, and actively engage in local and international projects. The streets of the Balsiai microdistrict, named after pagan Baltic deities, preserve the symbols of ancient culture. Every year, the school selects a symbol which embodies the eternal values that unite the large school community. The volunteer will contribute to the educational environment by supporting teachers with material preparation, facilitating cultural exchange through presentations and interactive activities about their home country, and providing classroom assistance. They will also develop and lead engaging educational activities, such as workshops and games, and actively participate in the organization and execution of school events.

As a volunteer in Vilnius, you will have the opportunity to be hosted in a comfortable flat alongside other like-minded volunteers who share your passion for community service. You will have your own private room, providing a space for rest and relaxation. You will also get: - a monthly bus card; - a monthly stipend for food and pocket money; - a team of dedicated professionals, including a mentor for personal support, a project coordinator to help you get the most out of your experience, and a tutor from the hosting organization to guide you every step of the way.

Maximize your potential and make the most of your volunteer experience with our comprehensive support system! As a volunteer, you will receive On-Arrival and Mid-Term trainings organized by the National Agency, regular meetings with the coordinating organisation and other perks from the hosting organisation. We understand that reflection is key to personal growth, which is why hosting organisation offers regular reflection sessions. These sessions provide a safe and supportive environment to share your experiences, learn from one another, and grow both personally and professionally.
Profil uczestnika
We seek a curious, creative, and responsible volunteer who enjoys working with children. This individual will be eager to learn and share, contributing to our school community with enthusiasm and reliability. They should be able to develop engaging activities, assist teachers effectively, and participate actively in school life.
