Opis

To apply : send cv, motivation letter and the name of the project you applied to clemence.delvaux@international-jtm.com The 'FabLab Fougères Agglomération' is located in the 'Médiathèque de Fougères' with whichit works closely together on different projects. Built around the idea of creating acollaborative and creative space focused on digital fabrication, the FabLab is free and open to everyone to realize their projects. Tasks of the volunteer : Learn the basics of digital fabrication and how to use the FabLab's machines / Guide visitors through the FabLab and the Médiathèqueand explain the possibilities offered by these spaces / Help users to realize their own projects / Propose creative workshops/ Machine maintenance / Work in link with the Médiathèque de Fougères on different project / Promoting the culture of the volunteer's home country among users of the Médiathèque and the FabLab / Participate to a collective project withs others volunteers.

Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport

The volunteer will be accommodated in a youth house in Fougères. They will have their ownroom and bathroom. Depending on availability, he or she may also have his or her own kitchen,or one shared with other young people in the house. Sheets, blankets and pillows are provided, but not towels. . Pocket money will be provided, plus money forcovering the food expenses. The international travel expenses will be reimbursed on the basis defined by the European Commission.

Szkolenie w trakcie działania

The volunteer will take part in an on-arrival training and mi-term evaluation organised bythe National Agency. In addition the volunteer will take part in a Brittany seminary with all the volunteers hosted in Brittany.

Profil uczestnika

You should know: The Fablab is a space to exchange ideas and participate in conversation with the guests. As Fougères is a smaller city,you will encounter a lot ofpeople who speak little to no english, so it is nice to have a basic knowledge of french in order to interact with the community. to learn. To us, it seems essential that the volunteer is able to take the initiative, to encourage activities and to propose workshops. No driving license needed. Fougères has a rich associative network if the volunteer wishes,and depending on his/her interests, he/she can decide to become a member of an association(sport, drawing, dance, etc.)
