Associazione Link APS is an association that wishes to promote non formal education, intercultural learning activities and human rights education. Link is a sending and hosting organisation for ESC volunteering and youth exchanges. ESC volunteers will assist the association in their different activities such as hosting of youth exchanges, workshops in schools, the animation of a youth club, promotion of the European mobility. The volunteers are asked to suggest their own activities and projects. This will be an opportunity for them to learn more about non formal education, intercultural learning, european project management and of course the italian language an culture. Link manages a Community Library called Agorateca where most of the activities happen. The volunteers' program includes working at the front office welcoming and helping users, planning and implementing activities for children and adults, pod-casting. Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteers will be hosted in a shared flats in center of Altamura. The flat have a kitchen, living room, shared sleeping rooms, shared bathroom. The apartment is shared with other volunteers, everyone is responsible for taking care for the flat - cleaning, shopping and cooking. Each month every volunteer has the right to receive a pocket money 6€ per day and 200€ as money for food. There is no need for transport because the working and living place is about 20 min walking away. The duration of the project can vary between 6 and 9 months.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
Long-term volunteers will be followed during all the activities by a tutor who will favor their job placement and integration within the working group, thus favoring one full and active participation in all the activities of the NGO. The tutor will organize meetings programming periodicals in which the other members of the NGO will participate, and will be made available to contribute to the resolution of any voluntary need. In order to facilitate the integration of the volunteer not only in the organization, but also in the community local, a mentor will be identified.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
The youth from 18 to 30 years is expected to be open-minded, flexible, interested in the work with people of all age and background. Interest in Italian culture and language is important and open to learning in every moment of their project. Candidates having the following skills/interests are very welcome: digital competences, social agricolture, youth / international work in general and youth exchanges and trainings, books, children and youth, web radio.
