Opis
The association "Maison de la Culture Famenne-Ardenne" (MCFA) has the mission to spread the culture among a broad public by offering activities under various shapes and through different ways during which people can share and discover in order to reach a cohesive and dynamic cultural group in the community. The association offers many facilities and regular activities: theatre shows; concerts; exhibitions; holiday activities for children; Art Festivals; a Cultural Brasserie; a social vegetable garden… Tasks for the volunteers are mainly linked to animations with the MCFA and the Public Library called BiLoM (creating/managing/animating and evaluating cultural actions; co-animation of exhibition visits and workshops; meetings with social partners; reflection about pedagogical missions). The volunteers can also support the organization of events (set-up and strike-down the material; welcoming the public/artists; bar; reception; ticketing)
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The volunteer will have a private room in a house that will be shared with other volunteers. The house will be located in the centre of Marche-en-Famenne (on a short foot-distance from the workplace) and will have all the modern facilities. The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance and will take care of the meals on their own. Participation in the ESC is free of charge for the participant, except for exceptional contribution to travel costs. They will receive a small allowance (pocket money) for personal expenses throughout the duration of the activity, including vacation.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
On-arrival and mid-term seminars organized by the french-speaking National Agency of Belgium. Get Together seminars organized by Compagnons Bâtisseurs Belgium (the coordinating organization). The volunteers will also take part in the training of international leaders organized twice a year by CBB. French classes available.
Profil uczestnika
Open to anybody motivated by volunteering and who wishes to be involved in our organization and working in the field of youth, regardless of their nationality, religion, believes, diploma, professional exp. A volunteer comfortable with any type of public, ready to be immersed in French from start, open minded towards people from different backgrounds with a strong interest in the link between social inclusion and culture; local initiatives; creativity; culture; reading; visual arts; (board) games; artistic techniques.
