ASSOCIATION POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT DES INITIATIVES CITOYENNES ET EUROPEENNES

FUNDACION VASE

QUITO, Equador

Descrição

Fundación VASE is a non-governmental, non-religious organization dedicated to supporting Ecuadorian communities through international voluntary service and intercultural education. In this mission, volunteers join ASA, an organization providing vital shelter and educational spaces for children, adolescents, and migrant families. The work combines direct humanitarian assistance with long-term capacity building. Volunteers are responsible for assisting educators in shelters, accompanying minors during therapeutic sessions, and implementing clinical recommendations from the psychological team. A key technical component of this role involves developing and facilitating specialized workshops on child protection, migration, and conflict resolution for both residents and staff. Furthermore, the volunteer will support the technical team in systematizing ASA’s methodology to improve the effectiveness of humanitarian actions directed at migrant populations.
