Description
We invite you to take part in the ESC project, whose main goal is to show young people different perspectives on the world. Thanks to your presence in the local community and by sharing your own experience of being yourself – someone different than me - as well as presenting your country and culture from your own point of view, you will have a real impact on shaping the worldview of the young people you meet. Of course, you will also benefit from the project just as much as you contribute to it :) You will carry out your daily tasks in schools or cultural institutions. You will also stay in regular contact with other international volunteers and take part in various additional workshops - a space created by the volunteers themselves. This project is for you if you want to build your independence and self-awareness in a safe environment. We invite you to join us and take action! 😊
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers live in 3–4 person flats with private rooms and shared kitchen, bathroom, and living space. Flats are near the city center or well connected. We cover: ✔️ €6/day pocket money ✔️ €3.28/day food allowance ✔️ Full accommodation ✔️ Free public transport ✔️ Travel costs (ESC distance band) ✔️ Henner insurance ✔️ Visa support + refund
Training during the activity
Our activities include: ⚽ Sports events (volleyball, basketball, football,frisbee ultimate) 🍳 Cooking workshops and shared meals 🌍 Intercultural evenings and team-building 📚 Mandatory On-Arrival Training (ESC)
Participant profile
- No specific prior knowledge, skills, or experience is required as the necessary ones can be acquired during the project. - Able to work in a multicultural environment. - Flexible and creative, like very creative! - Open-minded with a positive attitude. - Motivated to promote solidarity. - Communicative and sociable. P.s. Participants are accepted regardless of gender, beliefs, preferences, and level of education. However, the volunteer must be able to stay the full duration of the project!
