Our Community Inclusion project aims to promote social inclusion, active citizenship, and solidarity through non-formal education activities involving young people and local communities. Volunteers support the local community, organize cultural and educational events, and foster intercultural dialogue. The project creates opportunities for personal development, encourages mutual understanding, and strengthens community bonds, contributing to a more inclusive and cohesive society.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
Accommodation: volunteers will live in a fully furnished accommodation in the town. There will be max. 2 participants in the same room (rooms are separated by gender). Additionally, the accommodation includes a well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms with toilets and showers, plenty of space inside and outside to relax, and free Wi-Fi.
Food: volunteers can use their food budget (150 EUR/month) to cater for themselves. They will receive 120 EUR/month pocket money to spend as they wish.
Transport arrangements: for local transportation, volunteers will receive bicycles to get around the town. International travel expenses will be reimbursed according to ESC Guide, and green travel is encouraged.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
Training will happen upon your arrival. You will be made aware of cultural differences you will encounter, be taken on a city tour, and meet your future mentor. We will also make sure you participate in the trainings organized by the Romanian NA: the On-Arrival Training and the Mid-Term Evaluation. For the activities, you will be fully presented with the details once you arrive and will be given all the necessary resources for you to do your research and prepare. We offer Hungarian or Romanian language support (online or in person) and we encourage you to use the General Online Training.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
We are looking for three volunteers between 18 and 30 years old who desire to contribute meaningfully to society and to step out of their comfort zone. They should have the urge to develop their communication, cooperation and practical skills through the programme, and to recognise their strengths and weaknesses within a team. The ideal participant is flexible, motivated, responsible and open-minded, as well as able to attend the full duration of the project. We encourage volunteers to be creative and proactive in their time here, and to share their unique skills and ideas with us.
