Knowledge Garden 2
ASSOCIAZIONE LINK APS
Altamura, Italy
Description
In 2024, we created the Knowledge Garden, an outdoor space for studying, reading, and cultural activities within the Agorateca community library. We now aim to improve and beautify this space to make it even more attractive and welcoming, through new furnishings such as cushions, benches, and creative interventions inspired by the principles of the New European Bauhaus—creativity, beauty, and social connection. Activities will also include workshops with Abitare Circolare School and technical support for setting up a photography exhibition on the theme of migration, in collaboration with the association Campo 65.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will be lodged in a large apartment close to Altamura city center. Participants will receive food money and pocket money . Money will be transferred on participants bank accounts. Altamura is reachable by plane, train and bus. Link association will support participants in finding the best itinerary based on their exigences. All travel expenses are covered by the European budget. More detailed information are retrievable in the Infopack.
