Description
“My Green Steps Through the Forest 4” is a European Solidarity Corps short-term volunteering project hosted in the rural village of Arrouquelas, Portugal. The project brings together young people from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful environmental and social actions. Volunteers will contribute to forest preservation, fire prevention, and community development through hands-on tasks such as forest surveillance, ecological maintenance, creative workshops, and cultural events. The project also promotes inclusion, especially of refugees and marginalized groups, by encouraging intercultural dialogue and teamwork. Through this immersive experience, participants will strengthen their environmental awareness, develop key life skills, and foster European solidarity in a supportive and rural setting.
