Opis
Volunteering experience in field of Social Inclusion, Solidarity and Aggregation. Volunteers will give emotional and relational support to children, teenagers and people with different levels of disabilities through workshops and activities. Volunteers will live their experience in 4 different services: Young and teenager service (Young center with teenagers and young people from 11 to 25 years old, Educational projects in secondary schools, Active citizenship); Social educational service (Homework support for children and teenagers from 6 to 14 years old) and Summer camps (with children and teenagers from 6 to 14 years old); Social agriculture and work integration (Rehabilitation and therapeutic projects, Work integration programs, Educational farm workshops, Production and sale); Disability and social integration (Social occupational daily center, Educational local group, Fund for possible autonomy).
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
Volunteers will live in a shared apartament in Casarsa della Delizia, far 1.5 km from the center. They will have their own bedroom with a single bed, wardrobe and bedside table. There are also a shared kitchen, two bathrooms and a washing machine. Sometimes volunteers will eat in the services, where they will have their experience, otherwise they will receive the food money. Bikes would be available for your use. If the service is far, volunteers will go to the place with operators. In Casarsa there is also a train station, that is connected to the main Italian cities.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
Regular meetings with tutor and mentor. Linguistic support, with the opportunity to attend an Italian language course. Involvement in local community initiatives, to encourage integration and active participation. Preparation of Youth-pass, CV and definition of their own future project. Participation in arrival training, mid-term evaluation of the National Youth Agency and in the annual event for European volunteers. Contact with sending organizations.
Profil uczestnika
The social cooperative “Il Piccolo Principe” works with people, for this reasons relationship and attentiveness are very important. There will be a weekly program, but it’s important that the 3 volunteers are flexible and patient. Other qualities that complete the profile are responsibility, proactivity and motivation.
