Opis
The programme will host six young people for 11 months, so that they can gain European volunteering experience in different organisations. INTERCULTURAL YOUTH (Auryn Association): Promoting children and youth integration throughout a leisure time and educational program focused on values linked with Human Rights, tolerance, respect and solidarity. (3 vacancies) HOME (Valponasca): Stimulating the intercultural education from the non-formal education and the informal learning, encouraging at the same time solidarity and tolerance among young people, basically to reinforce the social cohesion within the European Union. (1 vacancy) COMMUNITY LEARNING (Don Bosco Youth Centre): Development of extracurricular activities, community development projects and socio-cultural animation with young people . (1 vacancy) CONNECTING AGES (León Alzheimer Association): Planning and development of activities for Alzheimer’s patients and support for their families (1 vacancy)
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
León is a small city in northern Spain, which means that you can walk everywhere. Accommodation will be in a shared house with volunteers (single or shared rooms) with a kitchen, bathroom and living room. The house will be located near the organisations (if the distance is too long, will be provided a public transport card). Maintenance will be covered by the money that will be provided monthly to the volunteer for this purpose.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
During the volunteer programme, Spanish classes are offered, as this is one of the programme's objectives. In addition, support will be provided with the completion of the YouthPass and the development of personal projects.
Profil uczestnika
We are looking for responsible people who are committed to social issues. They should be willing to enjoy the experience, but also to get involved in associations. People who know Spanish and want to improve their skills or who are willing to learn the language in order to further their learning.
