Description

You’ll be volunteering in Erfurt, the cozy capital of Thuringia full of history, cafés and a creative youth vibe. Your host, Next Level e.V., is an NGO working on sustainability, education, and creativity through Erasmus+ exchanges, trainings, and local projects. You’ll become part of our small but dynamic team and support us in many different ways – depending on your interests and talents. Your tasks might include: •Talking to our international partners and helping us organise European projects •Creating content for our social media and website (photos, videos, posts – your creativity is welcome!) •Helping us reach more people by working on marketing ideas and campaigns •Looking for participants for our youth exchanges and trainings •Supporting local events and international youth projects – from planning to implementation •…and sharing your own ideas to bring the organisation to the next level! We value independent work, creative input, and a collaborative atmosphere.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We offer: • Accommodation in a shared flat in Erfurt: you will have your own bedroom and share kitchen and bathroom with your flatmates • Monthly allowance of 500€ (pocket money + food money) • Health insurance • Travel reimbursement depending on the travel distance (normally between 180-395€) • Monthly Deutschland-Ticket allowing you to travel across Germany unlimitedly • Mentorship and space to develop your own ideas or small projects

Training during the activity

As an ESC volunteer, you'll attend 2 – on-arrival and mid-term – trainings with other ESC volunteers in different locations in Germany. Apart from that, you'll have an opportunity to be involved in our international projects and local workshops and build your competencies there.

Participant profile

We’re looking for someone who: ...is between 18-30 years old (on the starting day of the ESC) …is fluent in English (German is an asset) and is willing to improve their language skills …does not intend to continue their studies online / work remotely on another job during the ESC ...is open-minded, proactive and enjoys teamwork ...likes to communicate – with people or through visuals ...wants to explore sustainability, non-formal education and youth work ...can imagine living in a small city and working in a chill, collaborative office ***Interested?
