Beschreibung

The mobility includes environmental activities with a primary focus on sustainability, reuse, and local agricultural culture. Among the experiences: the traditional Apulian olive-growing process, including olive harvesting and subsequent milling; seasonal agricultural activities. There will also be a focus on the Agorateca community garden through its maintenance and design, followed by the construction of new furniture and fixtures. www.agorateca.it

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

Volunteers will be lodged in a large apartment close to Altamura city center. Participants will receive food money and pocket money . Money will be transferred on participants bank accounts. Altamura is reachable by plane, train and bus. Link association will support participants in finding the best itinerary based on their exigences. All travel expenses are covered by the European budget. More detailed information are retrievable in the Infopack.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

Volunteers will receive basic training on the Italian language and culture. They will also be trained on key technical tasks (use of equipment, etc.) and the main safety and prevention regulations.

Teilnehmerprofil

We search for 18-30 years old volunteers with flexibility and interest in the topic. We strongly prefer the volunteers has a sending organization which will take care of the preparation and support them during and after the project. Be sure you haven't reached the maximum duration of volunteering within ESC program (12 months). If you don't have a sending organization try to find one or at least read all the rules of European Solidarity Corps Volunteering in Teams. In addition, volunteers should have the following qualities: manual and creative skills, a good command of the English language,
