We are Christian Catholic NGO called VIAC – Institute for youth support and development. Nowadays we are looking for 6 short-term (2 month) volunteers, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity and are willing to share those values among young people. Volunteers will help with maintaining our youth centre and also with work in different camps and in our community centres and prepare and lead activities for youth. Please, do not write motivational statement using AI. Volunteering starting dates can be discussed with us. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Travel costs will be reimbursed up to the distance band, in according to the rules of Erasmus+. Volunteers will be accommodated either in our youth centre or in the flat in centre of Trstená. Volunteers will receive pocket money as well as money for food. They can have lunch in our organisation or arrange their own food.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will have onboarding training in our organisation.
Perfil do participante
We are looking for young people at the age from 18 till 30, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity, but we are open to anyone who is open and willing to learn new things. At least communication level of English is required. Previous volunteer experience and experience in work with children, young people or social work is welcomed. We cannot accept volunteers from Algeria and also in this short-term volunteering we prefer those who don't require visas.
