Opis
Generation XXI follows the need to continue to raise awareness young people for change and looking for better opportunities, but also for the possibility of understanding the local challenges and connecting them with Europe and the global environment. We believe that fruitful experiences of active participation, volunteering, training and mobility support the development of skills in young people and increase their entrepreneurial skills and therefore employment opportunities, offering a incredible opportunity to support the development of local communities and personal and professional development of local youth. The activities of this project are connected with our areas of intervention and they are: Youth Information Center, Environment - Pedagogical Farm, Artistic and Cultural Activities - Museum, Library, Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The Municipality of Portimão will host volunteers in accommodation that ensures health and safety conditions. The accommodation will be fully equipped, ensuring all safety rules. There will be internet connection so that they can more efficiently manage their communication with home, family and friends. At the beginning of each month, we will transfer the amount of 310 euros for food allowance and pocket money.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
Together with the partner sending organization, we have agreed that all selected volunteers must receive face-to-face training before departure. We will hold online meetings with volunteers before departure. In addition to this preparation process, upon the volunteers' arrival, we will conduct an induction training session for introductions, expectations, and familiarization with the location. During the opportunity, we will hold several meetings related to the volunteer project and several evaluation moments, as well as a final evaluation of the project.
Profil uczestnika
We will give priority to volunteers with few opportunities or in situations of long-term unemployment, we will select the volunteers that are included in the list of volunteers registered in the European Solidarity Corps. The volunteer must be dynamic, motivated and enjoy working in an international and multicultural, responsible and friendly group. The project also aims to have and promote gender equality. Respecting the policy of gender equality. Our goal in this project is for volunteers to be motivated to participate in many other projects in their cities.
