Description

The volunteer will: Participate in youth work activities and help organize meetings for teenagers and young people. Take part in various project-based activities. After settling in, be encouraged to initiate their own project, such as a language club, an interest-based club, or any other social project aligned with their interests. Assist in promoting Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programs. Participate in preparatory meetings for both local and international projects.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation: You will have a private room in a fully equipped volunteer house/apartment. Food: You will receive either daily meals or a monthly food allowance to prepare your own meals. Transport: Local transportation for project activities will be covered, and you will receive a public transport card (if needed). All arrangements are provided under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program, so you can focus on your volunteering journey without worrying about basic expenses.

Training during the activity

Receive orientation training to help you settle into your role and understand the project goals. Take part in skills workshops on topics like youth work, project management, communication, and intercultural learning. Gain hands-on experience in organizing events, working in a team, and leading your own initiatives.

Participant profile

Be aged 18–30 and eligible to join the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) program. Show interest in youth work, community engagement, and intercultural learning. Be willing to organize activities and take part in both local and international projects. Have good communication skills and enjoy working in a team. Be ready to share their own ideas and start their own small project during the volunteering period. Knowledge of English is recommended – motivation and willingness to learn are more important!
