The VALE Association is offering two long-term individual volunteer positions for a period of 6 months. Our organisation is a reference at regional and provincial level in the field of people with disabilities. It has several day centres, a residence and a centre for the pedagogical development of people with disabilities. It has more than 40 years of experience in the field of inclusion. The tasks to be developed during the volunteering project will be mainly the support of the activities carried out by the entity, as well as the organisation of workshops for the users of the day centre.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
200 euros will be provided for food money, as well as 6 euros per day as pocket money. Travel costs (by public transport) will also be covered within a budget band to be determined according to the distance between the home country and Spain. Accommodation will be in a house with other volunteers, having each volunteer a single or a double (same gender) room.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
During the volunteering project, participants will receive a follow-up of the tasks they carry out, as well as training specifically in the field of inclusion and disability.
Teilnehmerprofil
We are looking for a person with previous experience in social work, and work in the field of inclusion or related to people with disabilities will be an asset. An intermediate level of English is required and a basic level of Spanish would be an asset.
