Περιγραφή

Hotels School of the Canary Islands (HECANSA) is a company attached to the Ministry of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands that offers Dual Vocational Training, with hotel establishments and restaurants that offer a real learning escenario. We allow students to train through the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge, applied from the first day with clients and in real scenarios. ESC@HECANSA 2025 will be held mainly in our 2 main buildings, the Hotel Escuela Santa Brígida (Gran Canaria) and the Hotel Escuela Santa Cruz (Tenerife). We would like to host 5 ESC Volunteers distribute in our two main hotels. Volunteers will help in various departments of the hotel-school to understand the hotel and the tourism sector. Adicionally, the volunters will assist the educational department wuth language classes organizing speaking lessons using non-formal aducation methods.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

- Volunteers who comes to Gran Canaria: They will live in the students ‘residence of the Hotel School in Santa Brigida (40 minutes by bus from the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). Normally they share double rooms with a bathroom to share between 4 person. - Volunteers who comes to Tenerife: They will live in the students ‘residence of the Hotel School in Santa Cruz already in the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Normally they share double rooms with own bathroom.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

Volunteers will be helping in different activities (from the management perspective and not operational) in different departments of the company, such as reception, reservations, revenue, events, Food and Beverage department, etc, to get to know how the hotel and tourism sector work. At the same time, the will be participating in the Educational department of our school helping with the language classes, organizing speaking lessons with the students by using non-formal education methodology.

International participants with a middle level of spanish. Profile related to the tourim sector. Studies, experience or motivation and/or interest in the tourism sector.
