By working with young people with the fewer opportunities and promoting inclusion in the city of Vukovar, Croatia, the project primarily aims to support development of inclusive volunteering. Therefore the plan is to implement activities in the school(s), local community and PRONI's office. 1) preparing and leading different workshops and activities for young people with fewer opportunities and health difficulties, as least two times per week in the field of art, culture, music, dance, sport, language, etc. 2) designing and participating in adjusted voluntary activities for young people (with the fewer opportunities and health difficulties) in the local community 3) promoting inclusive volunteering 4) promoting ESC program and intercultural learning In order to support general youth work, the volunteers will be engaged in regular PRONI's activities in the field of youth information work, solidarity projects and volunteering in community. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Selected volunteers will be accommodated in a rented flat suitable for 2 persons, near our office and vacancy place. Besides covered costs for living, each volunteer will receive 250 euro monthly allowance for food and additional 10 euro per day pocket money, as it is set by European solidarity Corps program guide 2024 to the standards of living in Croatia.
Formação durante a atividade
During the vacancy, volunteers will be introduce with the work and policy of PRONI Centre, as well as receive/participate in several trainings: 1) How to plan, develop and run workshops and activities for young people 2) On arrival and mid-term training organized by Croatian National Agency 3) Croatian language course offered via EU Academy platform Additional training(s) will be offered according to volunteers'/project needs.
Perfil do participante
We are looking forward to host 2 volunteers up to 30 years old from one of the European countries or in-country volunteer (from Croatia) who are open-minded, communicative and creative and have some skills in the field of work we want to work with young people. Digital skills are also welcomed. Additionally, in order to volunteer on such positions, we are looking for volunteers willing to take the initiative during volunteering, as well as with developed empathy for target groups with whom you will work.
