The volunteer will join the Port-Barbe outdoor center, run by Accoord, a community education association in Nantes. Located in a Natura 2000 area, Port Barbe offers nature-based educational activities for young people. It offers rich landscapes and exceptional biodiversity, including forests, riverbanks, and open plains. The Center offers a wide range of fun and educational programs throughout the year, focusing on sports, science, and the environment. The volunteer will support the creation of fun and interactive learning tools to introduce European cultures and languages, using themes such as sports, science, environment, and sustainability. They will also take part in preparing and running international youth camps. Ideal for someone who enjoys being outdoors, working with children, and exploring nature and biodiversity. Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The volunteer will be accommodated in a shared house with other ESC volunteers and will share a bedroom with another volunteer of the same gender. A public transport pass will be provided for the entire duration of the project, along with access to a bicycle. French language classes will be offered during the first two months of the project. The volunteer will also receive pocket money and a food allowance, as detailed in the infokit available in the description above.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
The volunteer will take part in two mandatory training sessions organized by the Erasmus+ National Agency: an on-arrival training during the first month and a mid-term training halfway through the project. In addition, the Maison de l’Europe, as the coordinating organization, will offer regular training sessions and group gatherings with other ESC volunteers it coordinates, fostering shared learning and exchange.
Profil uczestnika
