ONLY OPEN TO NATIONAL VOLUNTEERS FROM ÅMÅL. This position will be at LSS. LSS is a facility focused on providing support and activities for individuals with special needs. The staff are experienced in taking care of participants and they have had interns several times. This location aligns with our Quality Label objectives by expanding the opportunities for volunteers to gain practical skills and experience in inclusive community work. By engaging with this facility, volunteers will develop empathy, communication skills, and hands-on experience in social care, ultimately increasing their employability and self-confidence.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The new volunteers will be national volunteers from Åmål. They will either have their own accommodation or live at home with their parents. They will receive food and pocket money and, depending on living conditions, financial support regarding that and other expenses as well. Åmål is a small town so local transportation is usually not needed. If we were to have a volunteer living in the rural area of Åmål, we would support the volunteer with a bus pass.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteer is entitled to join the on-arrival training in Stockholm and possibly a mid-term training.
