ASOCIATIA CARE2TRAVEL

Miercurea Ciuc, Romania

Description

Would you like to volunteer? We offer long-term volunteering opportunities for 4 young people from EU countries. The main task of the volunteers will be to facilitate different after-school club activities for children in the surrounding villages of Miercurea-Ciuc. The main focus will be on the topic of "Environment". Each day of the week ESC volunteers will go to different villages to provide numerous beneficial activities for various rural children. Through non-formal education and fun activities, volunteers will develop the social and English language skills of the children and enrich the educational environment, develop children's and volunteers’ digital skills. In the after-school clubs volunteers spend part of their time working in groups and part of their time working with individual children. With this project, you can make a meaningful contribution to society, generate a significant impact, and truly help children in need.

Additionally, the accommodation includes a well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms with toilets and showers, plenty of space inside and outside to relax, and free Wi-Fi.

Food: volunteers can use their food budget (150 EUR/month) to cater for themselves. They will receive 120 EUR/month pocket money to spend as they wish.

Transport arrangements: for local transportation, volunteers will receive bicycles to get around the town. International travel expenses will be reimbursed according to ESC Guide, and green travel is encouraged.
