Social Action and Democratic Participation in Rural Areas
La Bardal
Ucieda, Spain
Description
Some of us were born in the village, while others moved here from the city. We want to work alongside the long-standing rural community. We spend our days supporting local people and young individuals who want to develop community projects. We are looking for volunteers who are committed to social action, community education and promoting democracy. Participants will assist with project planning and documentation and accompany young people in the area on community development initiatives. Living with our team in the village enables volunteers to integrate into local life, contribute their experience to social projects and work closely with the local population to promote inclusion and democratic participation. Bringing an international and European dimension to the village will strengthen our work and help us achieve objectives that benefit the local community. The 120-day programme provides an opportunity to generate a more substantial impact on the community.
