This ESC team volunteering project will bring together young people from different European countries for one month, from November to December, to create an inclusive and meaningful experience ahead of the Christmas season. The project will take place in collaboration with local organizations working with elderly people and individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote social inclusion and intergenerational solidarity. Volunteers will organize creative workshops, cultural activities, and festive events to brighten the holidays for those who might otherwise experience isolation. Activities will include crafting decorations, preparing small gifts, supporting community events, and engaging in cultural exchange moments with the local community. This opportunity is especially designed for young people with fewer opportunities, offering them the chance to develop new skills, gain international experience, and actively contribute to a solidarity-based initiative.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Food and accommodation will be provided by the host organization according to ESC standards.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Volunteers will work as a team, learn from each other, and share the values of empathy, cooperation, and creativity. Accommodation, food, and pocket money are provided through the ESC program. The activities will be led by experienced youth workers who will provide task related training sessions.
Teilnehmerprofil
Young people with fewer opportunities, at their first international volunteering experience. We strongly suggest to the applicants to find a supporting / sending organization in their country / region. No specific skill required but interest in sharing, some basic manual ability and will to meet others.
