Accompaign children in social risk
Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad
Sierra Elvira, Atarfe. Granada., Espanha
Descrição
The volunteering experience focuses on the care and accompaniment of children living in situations of high social vulnerability. Volunteers actively participate in educational support, recreational activities, and community spaces, offering a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and develop. Their role involves providing close attention, accompanying daily routines, fostering integration among peers, and promoting values of respect, solidarity, and autonomy. Through playful, educational, and artistic dynamics, volunteers support both emotional well-being and learning, serving as positive role models and a source of support in times of difficulty. This close involvement becomes a bridge towards experiences of trust and care, essential to counteract exclusion and to open future opportunities for each child.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers are hosted in a shared house located within the organization’s center. Rooms are shared with other volunteer, fostering community life and intercultural exchange. Breakfast and lunch are provided collectively during the week, while volunteers are responsible for preparing their own dinners and weekend meals. Local transport is covered for activities related to the project, while personal expenses remain the responsibility of each volunteer.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will receive continuous learning opportunities through non-formal education activities and regular mentoring. They will be introduced to the organization’s work with children in vulnerable situations and guided step by step in their daily tasks. Weekly reflection meetings and intercultural exchanges with other volunteers support personal and professional growth. Participation in local and European programs also provides new skills, perspectives, and knowledge useful for their future paths.
