ENGIM in Guinea-Bissau focuses on vocational training, strengthening CIFAP school through teacher training and new courses for youth. It has also launched the country's first micro-enterprise incubator, supporting young entrepreneurs in early business development stages. The volunteer will assist local team in coordinating training activities. Main tasks: 1. Support planning and scheduling of training sessions and workshops. 2. Help trainers prepare teaching materials and exercises. 3. Organize workshops and seminars for students or participants. 4. Track attendance and participation during training activities, courses, workshops and seminars. 5. Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and participant progress. 6. Inform participants about upcoming sessions, deadlines and training changes. 7. Report training results and observations to the Project Manager. 8. Update website and social media, creating communication materials.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteer will be accommodated in a shared apartment with basic services (electricity, cold water, gas for cooking). The apartment, located within the CIFAP premises, includes a shared kitchen and living room, while the bedroom with a private bathroom is for the exclusive use of the volunteer. A security guard is present for safety. Wi-Fi is available only during working hours. A monthly allowance of €800 will be provided, covering food and local transport. A laptop will be provided, and reimbursement for mobile phone expenses is included.

Pre-departure training on local context, ongoing programs, humanitarian principles and security. On-site and pre-departure training on vocational training, business development, intercultural approaches and communication in the non-profit sector. Learning in the workplace in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team. The volunteer will receive briefings/training with different departments related to the mission and the position.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
Education & Training: Preferred (non-mandatory) degrees in International Cooperation, Political Science, Education, International Relations, Communication Sciences, Social Media Management or related fields. Skills & Competencies: Good communication and writing skills. Ability to work in diverse and complex environments. Ability to work in a multicultural team. Organizational and problem-solving skills. Autonomy and ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to adapt to a humble environment and simple lifestyle, work collaboratively, and share living and working spaces with others. Language & Technical Skills: Proficiency in both Portuguese (B1) and Italian (B1) is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google suite, Wordpress. Eligibility: Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
