Support for intercultural cohesion and local development in French Guiana

Description
As a volunteer, you will take part in various activities aiming to promote intercultural exchange and youth mobility in French Guiana. Your main tasks will include : - supporting the organization and logistics of our events (Visages de Yana, Alternayana, etc.) - promoting activities on social media (creating content, videos, stories) - creation of activities on European mobility for young people - raising awareness about European mobility and youth engagement - contributing to the design of communication tools (posters, goodies, e-book, testimonials) This mission will allow you to develop skills in event organization, intercultural animation, digital communication and teamwork in an international context, while experiencing the cultural and social diversity of French Guiana.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will purchase their own plane tickets and will subsequently be reimbursed by the association according to the allocated packages. Reimbursements will be made upon the volunteer's arrival in French Guiana, after they have provided their bank account number. The plane ticket with the invoice must be submitted to the association. The idea is to find the shortest flight so that volunteers do not have to wait too long to reach Cayenne. Peupl'en Harmonie will cover the remaining costs related to accommodation, meals and travel within French Guiana.
Participant profile
Participants should be: - Young people (aged 18-30 years-old) - Interested in cultural exchanges and solidarity actions - Interested in living in an overseas territory with specificities (distance from Europe, tropical climate, cultural differences etc.) - The association will be able to adapt to the specific diets (religious, vegetarian etc.) - Motivated to participate in the whole project - Wants to obtain new skills, competencies and knowledge - Motivated to speak in English or speaking french would be an advantage
