Description
L’Accoord is a nonprofit association based in Nantes, dedicated to popular education and promoting active citizenship. The organization works primarily with young people, volunteers, and staff to encourage personal growth and social inclusion. The Europe and International department coordinates Erasmus+ and other European mobility programs. It supports and facilitates international experiences by enabling participants to travel abroad for learning and volunteering opportunities. These mobilities aim to develop skills, foster intercultural understanding, and reinforce the principles of popular education throughout the entire process—from preparation to follow-up. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will be accommodated in a shared house with five other volunteers, sharing a bedroom with another volunteer. They will receive a public transport card and a bicycle for getting around. The volunteer will also receive a daily pocket money allowance of 8 euros and 9 euros per day for food expenses. Additionally, two months of French language classes are included. Training during the activity
The volunteer will receive ongoing support throughout the entire project, with a dedicated tutor who will provide continuous guidance and training. Additionally, the volunteer will have the opportunity to attend 2 trainings organized by the Erasmus+ agency. Depending on the projects, their profile, and interests, it is also possible for the volunteer to benefit from specific internal training sessions at L’Accoord.
Participant profile
We’re looking for an easy-going, motivated young person who’s ready to work with diverse groups—from youth to adults. Curiosity and an open mind are key! If you’ve already experienced mobility programs, participated in European initiatives, or been involved in associations or school activities (like being a class representative or part of the school newspaper), make sure to highlight that in your CV.
