!!!WE ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THROUGH OUR FORM: https://forms.gle/8aMFGte1emevNxFY9 The Free Waldorf School Leipzig was founded in 1990 and accommodates about 350 students. The Waldorf School leads students from grade 1 to grade 13. The ESC will be in the e day nursery, which is associated with the school. The Waldorf pedagogy pursues a holistic approach within children's mental and intellectual education. The curriculum is structured by the pupils' stages of development and aims at supporting and developing intellectual, mental and physical skills appropriate for the respective age. The day nursery offers a mentoring program in the afternoon for grades 1-4 (6 – 10 years). The staff of the Free Waldorf school consists of around 50 members. Two members are directly involved in the project. Moreover, there are between 50 and 100 adult voluntary helpers working at the school.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
You will live together with other volunteers in a shared flat, with your own single bedroom. Furthermore, you will receive food- & pocket money as well as a ticket for public transportation in Leipzig. Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
During the ESC: the volunteer receive a basic language training of some kind (not always an official course), also other training needed to carry out agreed tasks and the volunteer attend the On-Arrival training and Mid-term seminar offered by NA. In addition, there will be realised several project days towards topics of solidarity in europe / participation / social projects for all ESC volunteers.
