Get ready for two weeks full of energy, teamwork, and inspiration! In this project, we’ll explore the world of parasports: meet athletes, join their training sessions, and experience how sport can bring people together and break down barriers. We’ll learn, move, and grow as a team, trying out new activities and sharing our experiences. The project will culminate in a joyful school sports day, celebrating inclusion, connection, and the power of movement for everyone. The coordinator of the project is the Együttható Association (Budapest), the host organization is the Támaszpont MOPKA (Veresegyház).
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
Volunteers will stay in a fully furnished apartment in a lively area of Budapest, just 10 minutes by bus from our community house. Rooms may be shared, offering a great chance to connect. Rent, utilities, internet, and activity-related costs are covered. Travel expenses are reimbursed based on distance, with a preference for green travel. Workshop sessions take place at the community house, training visits at external venues, and the sports day will be held at a local school in the same district as the community house.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
During the project, volunteers will have the chance to learn directly from athletes and coaches active in the parasport world. Workshops are facilitated by our experienced team, offering hands-on guidance and skill development. For a deeper understanding of inclusion, volunteers will also meet individuals with lived experiences, gaining insights into accessibility, teamwork, and the power of sport to connect people and break down barriers.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
The project is open to young people from European countries whose citizens do not require a visa to enter Hungary, including participants with disabilities. Unfortunately, due to the long processing times for visa applications, we are currently unable to accept applicants from countries requiring a visa. We welcome motivated individuals aged 18–30 who are interested in inclusion, sports, and teamwork, eager to engage actively, connect with diverse peers, and contribute to workshops, training visits, and the inclusive sports day.
