Volunteering at Samba Résille

Samba Résille is a cultural organization that develops a popular education project through multiple activities: Brazilian music lessons and shows for all audiences (adults, young people and people with less opportunities), music concerts, artistic residencies and exhibitions. It also develops numerous artistic and cultural projects in Europe, Africa and South America. The volunteer will: 1. Help the team to organize Erasmus+ adult education mobilities all over Europe: Creation of Presentations (Powerpoint, Canvas…) to prepare the participants before departure; Logistical support during the week abroad; Creation of Genially to gather participants’ productions (reports, videos, recordings) 2. Take part to a Working Group to organize the Samba Résille Parade during Carnival of Toulouse (“Commission Carnaval”). 3. Support the Samba Résille team to organize festivals in May/June. 4. The volunteer will be able to carry out their own personal artistic or cultural project.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

Samba Résille will cover your accommodation (shared appartment or residence) and utility bills. Additionally, you'll receive a monthly pocket money for personal expenses, food and local transportation, along with health insurance (Henner).

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

She/he will be an integral part of the team (9 employees, one French civic service volunteer), a meeting will be held every Monday afternoon talking about ongoing and future projects. In addition, the volunteer will meet his tutor once a month to talk about their project evolution. The volunteer will participate in two seminars: training days on arrival and a midterm evaluation, organized by the French national agency.

We are trying to organize this position in the best possible way, and we need you ! So if you are between 18 and 30 and have: - Good knowledges of software such as PowerPoint, Genially or Canvas - Minimum knowledge of French (at least A2 level) - Passion for culture and music - Desire to get involved - Teamwork abilities We will be very happy to have you!
