This volunteering project in Armenia offers to make a real social impact while exploring a country rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. Volunteers will support youth-led initiatives such as workshops, cultural events, debates, and creative campaigns. The project promotes active citizenship, creativity, and intercultural exchange. Volunteers will also help develop community spaces, create media content, and engage with local youth. Alongside meaningful work, participants will enjoy Armenia’s vibrant capital Yerevan, breathtaking landscapes, and the famous hospitality of its people. This project is part of the European Solidarity Corps and is ideal for anyone ready to grow, contribute, and be inspired through international volunteering.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers will stay at hostel, in the capital Yerevan, directly across from the Alternative Youth Centre, where many project activities take place. The hostel offers comfortable accommodation with shared kitchen, free WiFi, a terrace, and an outdoor seating area with a fireplace.. Volunteers will be getting monthly food money and will prepare meals by themselves.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will receive training from the national agency, along with continuous non-formal learning and on-the-job training throughout the project. The training will be delivered by APY staff and experienced mentors. Key components include an on-arrival orientation, workshops and skill-building sessions, Armenian language support, ongoing mentorship, and a final evaluation. Volunteering in Armenia is more than helping — it’s growing! You’ll improve your teamwork, creativity, communication, and project skills while discovering Armenia’s culture and people. 🌍
Perfil do participante
We’re looking for motivated young people aged 18-30 from the Czech Republic who are ready to communicate in English (no need to be perfect). If you’re open-minded, enthusiastic about youth work and activism, and eager to make a positive impact in local communities, this project is perfect for you! You’ll enjoy working in a team, experiencing cultural exchange, and being part of a dynamic, multicultural environment. Having an interest in event organizing, social media, photography, or creative projects is a plus—but not required. No prior experience? No problem! What matters most is your passion and willingness to learn.
