Description

Created 30 years ago, the npo Le Centre Liégeois du Beau-Mur offers exchange and reception spaces for organisations as well as citizens carrying democratic and alternative projects. Beau Mur has two main types of activities: - An “house of organisations”. The place provides spaces (offices, meeting rooms…) for various liked-minded organisations, allowing them to carry on their activities but also to network and create sinergies – The organisation sets up activities and actions aiming at encouraging social innovation, continuing education, and the contribution to civic transition : greening the public areas, debates about societal issues, cooking workshops Your task as volunteer will be mostly to support the organisation in their communication strategies, social media and graphic design. You will also relay the activities organised by the other organisations hosted at Beau Mur. You will also support it into their activities with the local community

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will live in a shared house. You will have your own private room but will share the kitchen, living room and bathroom with your roommates. You will receive a monthly allocation for food and pocket money and cook by yourself. You will leave at walking distance from Le Beau Mur, but they will cover any costs you may have regarding transportation when it is project-related. Training during the activity

French classes are available within the organisation The coordinating organisation, CBB, organises a training for summer camps leaders to which the volunteer will be invited. Three residential events are organised by CBB in order to accompany the volunteers and their daily life challenges Two seminars will be organised by the National Agency

Interested in learning french Willing to discover and to learn, open minded to try new things. Willing to experience social media and group leading.
